Cracked Cloud Studios is a dream and a theoretical space to encompass the varriety of Thea’s work and aspirations. As one who has, like many of her peers, struggled with defining her work within the spectrum between art and craft, and has been unsatisfied with the limiting boundaries of both, Thea has created Cracked Cloud Studios as a title under which her work in all of it’s many forms can flourish. Cracked Cloud Studios also represents the dream of an expanded future practice and the physical space to hold it. It is a future dream of Thea’s to create a physical space in which she can help foster the experimentation and learning of others between the spaces of art and craft. In the meantimes Cracked Cloud Studios is the seed of that dream, the encouragement to pursue it, and the spacious nest of Thea’s own self exploration in her craft.
