Foil (Edge) Tesserae Earrings
Handmade earrings made from quatrefoils, laser cut from dark and light blue, transparent, acrylic sheet. The quatrefoils are hung from gold chains from small drilled holes in the plastic and gold leaf has been applied to the edges of the quatrefoils. The earring hooks are 14K gold plated. These earrings are inspired by tesserae, the small glass tiles used in mosaics, as well as shapes from gothic architecture.
