Handmade, ceramic cauldron, glazed in a soft brown glaze. The body of the cauldron is made in a shape similar to a turnip or radish, bulbous with a pointed tail. There are decorative bands of a muddy green glaze and metallic black around the bottom of the cauldron. More metallic black glaze on the cauldron feet, the small handles on the side, and dripping from the rim. The interior is glazed in a drippy golden brown color. One of the feet droke off in firing and was reattached with epoxy and the crack covered with a band of gold leaf. A wonderful piece, perfect for your alter and magic work, incense burning or candles, or holding a plant or trinkets. Dimensions are 4.5 in. by 4.25 in. by 4.5 in.
Hand wash only, if necessary, and be careful around the gold leaf as it might not withstand scrubbing.
