Radish, Mended Cauldron
Another freshly pulled from the garden!
Handmade, ceramic cauldron, made to resemble a radish. The cauldron is glazed with a bright red glaze on the exterior with bands of sage-blue green. The interior of the cauldron is glazed in a light green that collects thickly around the rim and at the bottom of the bowl. The body of the cauldron is made in a turnip or radish shape, bulbous with a pointed tail. The three feet of the cauldron are shaped to look like lettuce leaves and glazed with the same light green glaze as the interior. One of the feet broke inferring and has been reattached with epoxy and the crack covered by a band of gold leaf.
