Selene, Mended Cauldron
Handmade, ceramic cauldron, glazed in a thin satin white glaze with brown speckles . The rim of the cauldron is glazed in a metallic black that drips with a root-like pattern into the white glazed interior, along with drops of pale green glaze. Around the rim on the exterior is a decorative band of golden brown glaze showing hints of rich green, and decorative marks highlighted in the metallic black glaze. There is more metallic black glaze on the cauldron feet. One of the feet droke off in firing and was reattached with epoxy and the crack covered with a band of gold leaf. A wonderful piece, perfect for your alter and magic work, incense burning or candles, or holding a plant or trinkets. Dimensions are 4.5 in. by 4 in. by 4.5 in.
Hand wash only, if necessary, and be careful around the gold leaf as it might not withstand scrubbing.
