Tyto Alba, Owl Bowl
Handmade, large, ceramic bowl carved with a ring of 6 Barn Owls. This bowl warped and cracked in its firing so it is not perfectly round in it’s rim. The cracks do not go all the way through the piece, they are superficial and do not have an impact on the bowls ability to hold water and anything else. The price has been adjusted with these flaws in mind. The owls are glazed in shades of white and brown copper with delicate attention to detail in trying to mimic the natural coloring of barn owls. The rest of the bowl is glazed in a pale, translucent blue and the exterior has rings of white, black, and a burnt orange color. This is a one of a kind piece. This bowl is 13 in. by 5 1/4 in. by 11 3/4 in.
